My name is Jenny and I am based in West Yorkshire, UK.

I generally like to throw pieces on the potter’s wheel, often adding handmade elements to alter and add whimsy to these forms. I am interested in surfaces and textures and am drawn to simple colour combinations. I am drawn to the tactile and functional nature of ceramic items.

I currently fire my work in an electric kiln, mostly single fired, which is one way to reduce energy use. I am also interested in recycling materials, such as fireplace ash, in order to make glazes.
